During the course of employment, employees regularly gain access to confidential and sensitive company information. This creates the risk that trade secrets may be (unintentionally) disclosed to outside parties. Protecting this information is therefore of particular importance in the context of employment law. In order to effectively guarantee this protection, employers are required not only to ensure that employment contracts are legally sound, but also to proactively implement appropriate protective measures.
