Yet too many business leaders still think of relocation as a mostly logistical exercise, or one that begins only after a staffing decision has been made or a recruiter has set unrealistic expectations. The conversation typically starts with determining what financial or other benefits to offer, how quickly a move can happen, and which services are needed. These considerations matter, of course, but the most effective mobility programs start much earlier in the process.
