On 10 November 2025, the Vietnamese government issued Decree No. 293/2025/ND-CP (“Decree 293”) regulating the regional minimum wage (RMW) for employees working under employment contracts. Decree 293 took effect on 1 January 2026, replacing Decree No. 74/2024/ND-CP (“Decree 74”) dated 30 June 2024.In accordance with Decree 293, the monthly and hourly RMW have been increased by approximately 7.2% compared to Decree 74.
